MSBU
Municipal Service Benefit Unit
The MSBU (also known as Special Assessments) provides residents with a funding mechanism for specific infrastructure improvements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates with citizens evaluating the possibility of establishing and MSBU district.
- Works with the County Engineer in establishing costs for the special assessment in regards to road districts.
- Works with public and FPL to establish lighting districts.
- Coordinates the public hearings and procedures required for the establishment of a distrct.
- Maintains and submits all special assessment rolls.
- Application for special assessment district.
